DOORSTEP surveys are to be carried out with residents living in areas of Burnley targeted for regeneration.
Interviewers from PH Research will be surveying residents in central Burnley, which received £20million from the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) in 2000, to see if they feel it has made a difference.
The interviewers - mainly local people who have received special training - will carry out their research at 400 homes randomly selected from the 15,000 in the area.
They will ask about how areas have changed, focusing on employment, education, health, the environment and community safety. The information will be used to evaluate the progress achieved by the SRB.
Anyone wishing to verify the identity of a researcher can call Helen Greene on 0161 620 2290.
