A mobile classroom run by Wigan Metropolitan Life Education Trust can stay on the road thanks to National Lottery funding.
Without it the staffed caravan, which spreads the message of healthy living and drug prevention to primary pupils and parents in Journal-land, would have rolled to a halt by the end of the year.

Rotarian George Cowburn, chair of the project's steering group, said: "We knew there was need for the work and our current co-ordinator will carry out more than 70 parents' sessions before Christmas.
"Schools are asking for even more time and without the funding the work would have had to stop."
