A DRAMA group is setting the pantomime scene with rehearsals underway for Jack and Jill.
Tyldesley Little Theatre's modern day version of the traditional favourite opens at Lemon Street on November 29.
The updated version of the 19th century panto features popular nursery rhyme characters dealing with dames, demons and dimwits as they try to repair the happy spell that they accidentally broke when they spilled water from the magic well.
Director Ian Taylor also promises the usual mixture of song, dance and dreadful humour.
Classic comedy double act Garth Waddup and Denis Beardsworth return this time as the dame and her bumbling beau.
Ingrid Folkard-Evans will be belting out songs as the principal girl as Julia Houghton takes on the role of the thigh slapping hero in her return to the TLT stage after a year off.
The young dancers are once again led by teenager Danielle Cope.
Tickets are available for the run until December 6 on 01202 655619 or 01942 886908 with special deals for group bookings.
THE CAST - Garth Waddup, Andrea Peters, Denis Beardsworth, Hazel Rimmer, Paul Beardsworth, Kaye Taylor, Roma Etherington, Karen Morris, Winnie Beatty, Ingrid Folkard-Evans and Julia Houghton.
