A FESTIVE flavour will be on the cards at the next meeting of Radcliffe Traders Association on Tuesday.
Radcliffe's Christmas lights switch-on takes place on November 29 and next week's meeting in Radcliffe Civic Suite will give traders a chance to discuss how they can get involved in the town's Christmas celebrations.
Other items on the agenda include the Retail Security Initiative which gives businesses along Blackburn Street, Dale Street and Deansgate the opportunity to apply for 50 per cent of the costs towards security measures. Shopkeepers and other traders will also have the chance to give their views on the Radcliffe Masterplan. This is a draft report produced by independent consultants with the aim of re-inventing Radcliffe.
Those attending the meeting can comment on the proposals and make alternative suggestions to tackle some of the issues affecting the town.
The meeting begins at 6pm and all interested parties are welcome to attend. For further details call Heather Clark on 253 6140 or Susan Stockall on 723 4128.
