WHAT a great pity we cannot name and shame publicly the firms which do not back up their prices with good workmanship. We spent a great deal of money with a local firm having all windows and doors replaced with double glazing and a kitchen extension.

There were one or two anomalies along the way and the usual trying things, but, all in all, we were satisfied. Then, the front door cracked in places, which they replaced, but now it's faulty again.

We have asked and better asked for them to come out to it. We try to talk with someone other than the showroom person. We are told they have 17 people waiting for jobs to be done. This is not a good way to run a business, local or otherwise.

We were told last week it would be nearer to the weekend when someone would see to it. Unfortunately, he did not say which weekend. What a sham!
