VOLUNTEER group, the WRVS, is launching a recruitment campaign to enlist support in Bury.
The group hopes to attract volunteers to Women's Royal Voluntary Service projects within hospitals, food, the community and emergency services. Opportunities include retailing, catering, administration and social transport.
Agnes McLelland, head of volunteering at WRVS said: "The campaign is reaching out to a diverse range of volunteers. We are not an organisation just for women or older people, we welcome men and women of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and experiences. Volunteering is very much a two-way street, with benefits for each party, you just have to know how to get there: and that's where this campaign comes in!"
