A GOOD night was enjoyed by a packed audience at the Rosegrove Railway Club last week. Vocalist Ray Shenton and comedian Ayden Jay gave a fabulous night of enjoyment to a capacity crowd. Watch out for the next one in a month's time.
ROSEGROVE Action Group and the people of Rosegrove would like to wish a speedy recovery to Lisa Whittaker of Lowerhouse Lane from her recent major operation.
There are a couple of vacancies for the trips that the action group are running -- one to Gordon Riggs and one to the Bubble Factory in Oswaldtwistle, £3.50 each. Call in at the shop for more information.
ST MARK'S Church held an Italian Night recently. It was a good night and £200 was raised for church funds. The harvest lunch was another successful event and raised £150 of which £75 was sent to Christian Aid.
THE owners and riders of go-peds and scooters should be aware that third party insurance, helmets, audible warning system, brakes, speedometer and a driving licence are required when they are used on the highway. They are not to be ridden on footpaths.
Anyone caught not adhering to the regulations will be dealt with accordingly. Some parents in Rosegrove are letting their children ride on the handlebars.
