Black cat Merlin may provide the magic
IF you're looking for a wizard Hallowe'en, Merlin the black cat could prove the missing magic ingredient.
Merlin is a three-year-old who lives at the RSPCA Animal Shelter at Holter House Farm, Whinny Hill Road, Huncoat.
Described by staff as a sweetie, he was a little nervous when he arrived at the centre but is now on the lookout for a home, preferably without young children or dogs, although he would probably get on with other cats.
Merlin has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you would like to help him, contact the centre on (01254) 231118.
Last week's featured pet, Melody the cat, has found a home, thanks to the generosity of Telegraph readers.
