IN the on-going saga of the former royal butler Paul Burrell, it is outrageous that Princes William and Harry are having to go 'cap in hand' to see him to try to persuade him not to use more extracts from their mother, Princess Diana's letters.
Would any of us like to be in the princes' position of having private and personal letters of our loved ones scattered across the world's press for all to see?
And how petty to use the letters to attack Princes William and Harry and other members of the royal family because they didn't telephone him following his court case.
The only marginally good thing about this sorry tale is that Princess Diana is not here to see her 'rock' disintegrate before her eyes.
