A VASTLY-improved Leigh Miners Rangers U11s team turned in probably their best performance of the season with a 6-6 draw against Oldham St Annes.
A quick-thinking Eccleston scooted over from dummy half to score Rangers' only try which was converted by Mikalauskas. Despite enjoying the majority of possession and the better field position in the second half the Rangers were unlucky not to find the breakthrough.
Barnstorming prop Xenos was MOM with great support play from Ratcliffe while Ashton tackled himself to a standstill.
