DATEN Ladies Hockey got back into the swing of things with a 4-1 win over Hope.
Daten went ahead early with a well worked goal from Sacha Hateley. Hope replied quickly seizing on a rare mistake by the
defence. Undeterred, Daten pulled away with goals from Debbie Holland and Sacha Hateley in the first half and a precision strike from Helen Moffat in the second. The midfield of Beth Millman, Holland, Moffat and Liz Penman all played well and young goalkeeper Carla Metcalf pulled off a number of fantastic saves. Man of the match Debbie Holland.
