BEDFORD Rangers fought back from a three-goal deficit to beat Hindley Athletic 5-3 in the Under 16s section of the Leigh Youth League.
Hindley led after 25 minutes through Darryl Yates, Ryan Stanistreet and Martin Whittle before Bedford roared back with goals from man of the match Jonathan Townsend, Dwain Kinlock, Luke Sylvester, Jonathan Yates and Danny Ryan. Star man for Hindley was Simon Blakemore.
Results: U11s - Monks Sports A 3, Hindsford Juniors 0. U15s - Standish Juniors 3, Platt Bridge 6; Douglas Valley 1, Monton Amateurs 1; Hindley Youth 8, Lowton Wanderers 2. Under 16s - Bedford Rangers 5, Hindley Athletic 3; Bridgewater Eagles 6, Astley 1.
