BURY Ladies continue their FA Cup escapade this weekend with a home tie against local rivals Blackburn Rovers.

After disposing of Stockport and Durham in the preliminary rounds, Bury successfully negotiated a tricky away fixture coming from 2-0 down to defeat Blyth Spartans 4-2.

Ladies Manager Steve Mills said: "We are a much improved side this year but this is undoubtedly our toughest test yet.

"Rovers are top of the Northern Combination on merit and we will have to be at our best to get a result".

Krystle Johnson, who has returned to Bury after a spell with Manchester United, and Brazilian fullback Grazielle de Lima are likely to feature.

Eighteen-year-old Samba star de Lima has signed for the club after being impressed with the set-up and friendliness surrounding the team.

Grazielle is currently in the UK with her boyfriend and plays football in her town of Angra dos Rios.

The match takes place at the Ringley Road ground the club shares with Old Standians. Kick off is at 1 o'clock with free admission.
