A TOURING professional production of the Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol is coming to Lowton and Atherton.
A cast of established repertory actors, joined by children from St Catherine's, Lowton, will play two performances at Lowton Civic Hall on November 27 at 10am and 1.30pm.
Although the morning performance is sold out, tickets are still available for the matinee.
The show will then move on to the Formby Hall, Atherton, on December 10 with performances at 10am and 1.15pm.
Children from St Catherine of Sienna Junior School have been chosen to play the roles of Tiny Tim, Martha and Peter Cratchit, The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and Ignorance and Want.
Tickets at adults £6, concessions £5, parties of senior citizens and school children £4 a head, are available by ringing 07810 840422.
Another professional production, the panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, is booked for two performances at Lowton Civic Hall on December 23 at 11am and 2pm.
It comes direct from its record breaking run at the Theatre Royal, St Helens. Party and individual bookings can be made on the above number. Family tickets are £22, tickets £6.60 and concessions £5.50.
