A BURNLEY woman needed hospital treatment after a neighbour's monkey escaped and bit her on the leg.
The monkey, called Tiny, escaped from a cage in Dorothy Parker's home before attacking neighbour Margaret Lingard.
The victim said the beast sprang up and bit her when she approached a furry shape sat in the road.
