NEIL WARNOCK has warned his flashing Blades to watch out for razor-sharp winger Glen Little.

The United boss fears the Clarets ace could swing the Bramall Lane encounter and dish out a damaging fourth home defeat in five games.

And Warnock has ordered his team to be on red alert when Little and co cross the Pennines tomorrow afternoon.

He said: "I fully expect Burnley to finish in the top seven or eight in this league because they have a good mix of talent and experience.

"They have Little back now, who is a player I rate very highly. He's probably one of the most dangerous players in this division and we will have to be on our guard against him."

However, Warnock is well aware that even if Little is stopped in his tracks, Burnley are still capable of catching his side cold.

He added: "They are far more than a one-man team. I know they have had their ups and downs of late, but I still fully expect an extremely hard game.

"I have told my players exactly that because we've never had an easy game against Burnley, even though we have usually taken points off them here."

United have the added incentive of knowing that victory could rocket last season's beaten play-off finalists to the First Division summit.

Warnock admitted: "It stands us in good stead, with some of the games we've had, to be two points off the top.

"We probably could have had more but then you always get a bit selfish. That's what happens when you build a good side!"
