LUKE CHADWICK admits he is having the time of his life at Burnley.

The on-loan Manchester United winger sets out to blunt the Blades tomorrow when the Clarets visit high-flying Sheffield United.

And Chadwick is in the clouds himself after revealing he is currently enjoying the most enjoyable spell of his professional career.

He said: "I'm definitely a better player for coming to Burnley. You get so much more out of it than being back at United and playing in the reserves.

"That's a good level, but nothing like the standard I'm playing here and I'm just loving playing for Burnley every week.

"It's been the best time of my career. I've really enjoyed it that much."

Chadwick looks like handing Clarets boss Stan Ternent a welcome boost for the Bramall Lane trip after battling back from the toe injury that looked like stopping his enjoyment in its tracks.

Ternent is unable to name even a squad for tomorrow's game due to a 'flu bug sweeping through the camp.

But Chadwick looks like being one name Ternent can rely on following the latest player crisis to hit Turf Moor.

He added: "The toe seems to have settled down quite well now. It's still a bit sore when I use the left foot, but I don't kick it too much with the left, so I should be okay!

"I initially thought it might be broken after I caught the ball beneath the toes against Millwall, but the swelling went down quite quickly.

"I pushed myself to be fit for the Cardiff last week and when I came on it didn't feel 100 per cent right.

"I've felt a little jaded in a couple of games, but the injury could be a blessing in disguise because I've had a couple of days off. Now I feel fresh and ready to go for Saturday."

He added: "Sheffield away is a massive test. They showed what a good team they are last season by getting into the play-offs and they were definitely one of the most entertaining teams.

"They have some good young players and a lot of experience, so there's's a nice mix.

"But they have had a few dodgy results lately before beating Crewe on Tuesday and I think we can go there and enjoy a good game of football."

Ternent, who will delay naming his side until the last minute, explained: "We've had a virus flying round all week and Glen is struggling while Delroy Facey's foot is still a bit sore.

"But we've had a lot of it and a lot of the players still have it, so I can't tell you who will be in the squad or what the team will be until probably Saturday. It's that bad.

"We haven't got the biggest squad to start with and it's our turn to get it!"
