SINGER-songwriter Kellie While makes her debut appearance at Leigh Folk Club on Friday, November 28, as part of her UK tour spotlighting her talent as a solo performer.
Kellie is already a well-known name in the acoustic world. For a number of years she has been lead vocalist with the Ashley Hutchings Band and has just finished touring as vocalist with world/roots band e2K.
But behind all this she has been quietly building a reputation as a solo artist, performing her own songs and arrangements of traditional material. She will be supported for the evening by Leigh Folk Club's resident band Calico.
The club is held at the Leigh Conservative Club, Railway Road, Leigh and starts at 8.15pm. Tickets can be obtained from 01942 604603.
