CREAM'S Boxing Day outing to Liverpool is set to have an East Lancashire flavour, courtesy of local-lass-done-good Anne Savage.

The Burnley-born and Blackburn-educated hard dance DJ is among those on the bill for what is set to be another mad night at Cream's birthplace, Nation in Wolstenholme Square.

Before we go further, the attraction of clubbing it on Boxing Day is that this year it falls on a Friday -- making it one hell of a long weekend.

Anne -- whose latest track The Hoffman Experience was released this week -- is among a roster of talent lined up by dance stable Serious.

They'll be taking over Cream's legendary Courtyard for the night and Anne is on a list which also includes Judge Jules -- who rocked Feel in Preston last week -- Eddie Halliwell, John Kelly and Matt Hardwick.

Anne, named 48th most popular DJ in the country in DJ Magazine's annual poll published last week, said: "Anyone would agree that Cream was, still is and will always be, one of the best clubs in the world to DJ at. I have played loads at Creamfields but never at the club, so I can't wait to grace the decks on Boxing Night, a legendary night in the history of Cream."

In the main room on the night will be Radio One's Fergie, who is flying in by private jet to perform alongside Ibiza hero Tall Paul, Paul Kershaw, Gareth Wyn and Holland's Montana.

Headlining in the intimate Annexe side room will be Steve Lawler, a former Cream resident when it was a regular event in Liverpool, as well as Louis Edwards, Steve Parry, Paul Richards and back2back duo Lee Ellis and Anthony Probyn.

The event comes just two months after Cream's 11th birthday party in the soon-to-be Capital of Culture.

The night runs from 10pm until 6am at Nation, Wolstenholme Square. Tickets are £20 for students and £26 for everyone else. Entry price will be more on the door. For advance tickets, ring 0870 242 7326.
