CHILDREN at St James Primary School, Darwen, returned to a new look school and garden this week after volunteers from Barclays Bank gave up their time to make a difference.
The staff spent two days at the school as part of their annual 'Make A Difference Day' where they go out into the community to lend local organisations a hand.
They created a new garden which will be used by the children in the summer and redecorated the school hall to make it brighter and more welcoming.
