A NEWLY set-up group is seeking representatives from five areas to help residents shape the future for their community.
The Atherton Township Forum is beginning to take shape with the majority of the area represented, but delegates are still needed for the Gloucester Street-Wigan Road-Liskard Street area, Atherton town centre, Hindsford, Bolton Road up to Central Station and the Central Station-Upton Road-Douglas Road area.
Members of residents', community or Homewatch groups who would like to join should contact Cllr Sue Loudon on 01942 897240 or the township team on 01942 776160.
Details on how to form a residents' group can be obtained from the same numbers.
The next meeting is on Tuesday, December 2, at 7pm.
