RECENTLY there has been a number signs appearing in Bury town centre showing a glass of beer with a red circle and diagonal line through it.
These signs warn of a ban on drinking in the street but they are on posts more than six feet from the ground. I do not walk with my head tilted back at a 45 degrees!
They would be clearer if they were "painted" onto the pavement; at least people would see them!
