SOME of the finest rugby league players ever to wear the Green and Gold of Australia will roll back the years at Leigh's Hilton Park on Sunday.
The Australian Legends of League team will kick off their UK tour with a game against a visiting Manly representaive side.
The Legends team is packed with all-time greats and will be led by Mal Meninga and Eric Grothe, both members of the unbeaten Kangaroo squads of the 80s. Other well known names in the squad are Rod Wishart, Andrew Farrar, Chris Mortimer, Craig Coleman, Peter Tunks, Jason Hetherington, Mark Carroll, Trevor Gillmeister and Gavin Miller.
The Manly side, drawn from their junior competition, are managed by ex-Test great, Cliff Lyons.
Sunday's kick off is at 3pm and admission is £9 and £5. After the game all players will be in the Mick Martyn Bar to sign autographs and meet the fans of rugby league.
