It was a Watan trophy fest at this years presentation as the Pendle outfit took home four winners cups.

Only Al-Mehboob looked liked stopping them in the league and the Pemberton Cup but Watan proved too strong in both competitions. The PPWA tournament and the KMI trophy also found it's way to Watan.

The Mohammed Ramzan Memorial Cup was won by NQ who fought off a brave challenge by Barrowford CC. The winners trophy was presented to the captain of NQ by Shazad Ramzan, son of the late Mohammed Ramzan. Mr Ramzan was a much loved and well respected member of the community who tragically died earlier this year at the age of 48.

A special presentation was also made to eleven-year-old Tauqeer Hussain who is making a name for himself playing for Nelson CC in the Lancashire league. One of his highlights during the season included hitting five sixes and one four in one over.

Guests on the night included, the Mayor of Pendle, Coun Mohammed Iqbal, Nadeem Bukhari of Bukhari and Co Solicitors, Shahid Yusuf of Cross Contructions, Dr Ikram Mailk of the PPWA, Zulfiqar Ali of Hasan's Halal Meat, Mohammed Hanif, and Saqib Naseem of Penburn Constructions. The organisers wished to thank them for their kind donations.

And lastly we've been to more events than Wasim Akram's taken one day wickets...but the dinner you get from this presentation evening is second to none. It was so good we just had to give it a mention.
