I WOULD like to say I agree fully with Dave Snape's letter 'Speed limits won't remove the hazards' and I can also add that I believe more than 20 new cameras have been put up in the past few days.
The money wasted on these would be much better spent on educating the pedestrians, adults and children alike, who, because of all the methods of slowing drivers down, have the idea that they can just step out in front of traffic and it will stop.
When they are hit by a car, the driver gets the blame and, of course non-drivers call for more speed humps and everything else that goes with them.
The whole situation is ridiculous.
