A BOOK has been published celebrating the life of the man who built some of Pendle's most famous organs.
John Laycock, a former weaver from Crosshills, made organs for both Colne and Foulridge Parish Churches during a long and successful career.
The book about his life has been written by Bryan Hughes from Atherton, a member of the British Institue of Organ Studies.
It is now available from the Pendle Heritage Centre and the Colne Bookshop.
