THE residents of Sandylands are strongly in favour of the housing project proposed by Hargreaves Builders for the former bus depot on Heysham Road.
We utterly oppose the suggestion of leisure facilities on the site, as we who live on Sandy-lands will have this right on our back doorstep.
With Salt Ayre Leisure Centre and Morecambe and Lancaster College already offering sports facilities we do not believe that the area needs another centre.
