A CAMPAIGN to fight seats at the next municipal elections, in a bid to improve roads, cut rent and rates and win more open government was on the verge of being launched by the Community Associations of Blackburn.
The independent, non-political group, formed by Blackburn Amalgamated Community Associations, was attempting to take control of at least one third of the seats at the elections.
