OVER the years too much has been said or written about the state of our NHS hospitals.

I have just spent 12 months in Burnley General Hospital spending time in the intensive care and high dependency units, as well as time on different wards and the rehab unit.

I would like to put the record straight. You wouldn't get better care anywhere.

I would like to thank the NHS doctors and nurses, also the physiotherapists for their kindness and help throughout my long stay in Burnley and my family and friends for their continual support.
