A FEW weeks ago I rang Blackburn Transport to ask them why the Little Harwood bus no longer went from the Boulevard.
I was told that due to popular demand it was only gong to go from Ainsworth Street.
A short time after, the buses started going again from the Boulevard.
Then on December 9, I picked up a leaflet on the Little Harwood bus saying the buses would not go from the Boulevard but would go once again from Ainsworth Street (please make up your mind).
The reason for this was the congestion in Railway Road.
I feel sorry for the elderly and infirm who have to carry heavy shopping, say from Morrisons, or who have to catch a train or need to shop in Darwen Street.
The Little Harwood bus should be going from the Boulevard and Ainsworth Street if it is to provide a decent service. One of the slogans on timetables in the bus shelters states 'Travel-wise'. I think not.
