A 19-year-old man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with the murder of Andrew Rawes on October 14.
Damien Fiocca, of Whitendale Crescent, Blackburn, was originally charged with wounding Mr Rawes who was found lying near a telephone box in Pringle Street. Mr Rawes died in Queen's Park Hospital six weeks after the incident.
Fiocca, who had been in custody since the incident, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court where he will appear for a preliminary hearing on January 6.
