ASDA Golborne strengthened their position at the top of the Leigh District Amateur Soccer League with a runaway 7-2 win at Rope and Anchor.
Golborne's 11th win in 13 games came thanks to goals from Hill (3), Woods, Flannery, Munro and Spencer. Rope and Anchor's replies came from McPike and Grundy.
Foundry are in third place in the table after a 10-0 hammering of Three Crowns Reserves. On target for Foundry were A Dooley, Hardman (4), Pickup (3) and J Dooley (2).
Just a point behind Foundry are New Inn Rangers who beat Tyldesley 3-1 with goals from France (2) and Farrimond. Paddock scored for Tyldesley.
In the only other game to take place, Atherton Royal had a 5-1 win over Leigh Legion. The Royal's goals came from P Smith, Hughes, Halton, S Smith (2).
