A 20-YEAR-OLD man taken to Blackburn Infirmary by police launched a tirade of racial abuse at officers, staff and patients, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Tahir Hussain claimed all police were racist for about three and a half hours.
Hussain, of St James Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated threatening behaviour and three offences of being drunk and disorderly on separate occasions.
He was made subject to a community rehabilitation order for 12 months with a condition that he attends the Addressing Substance Related Offending programme.
Neil White, prosecuting, said police had been called to Hussain's family home by his mother after he came home the worse for drink and became aggressive.
Louise Voce, defending, said Hussain acknowledged that he had a drink problem which was behind all the offences.
