SCHOOL pupils in Bury are being put on their guard to try their hand at fencing.
Taster sessions will be offered to primary and high schools after Salle Kiss fencing club won a National Lottery Awards for All grant totalling £4,925.
The club holds evening sessions at Broad Oak High School in Hazel Avenue, Bury, and will be using the money to start up new projects and fund new equipment.
Any primary or secondary schools that would like to run taster course should contact 797 5179.
