PATIENT pupil Danielle Jones had to eat on her feet after deciding she would make an effort to inflate school funds.
Inspired by BBC's Children In Need, the nine-year-old Chesham Primary pupil told her family she wanted to raise money for a good cause.
Danielle opted to spend one lunchtime standing on a tyre to help pay for school yard improvements. Braving wet weather, she stood for a full hour and raised more than £100 towards new playground markings and equipment.
Her mother, Pam, said: "She had a couple of ideas of her own but decided that this was the best.
"It poured down and she had to stand there balancing with her sandwiches and an umbrella. She came home and needed a lot of pampering."
