THE jury has been sent home for the night in the case of two men charged with plotting to sell amphetamine.
Glen Liversidge, 44, of Wren Street, and David Hancox, 38, of St Cuthberts Street, both Burnley, deny conspiracy to supply drugs between January 2001 and February 2003.
The panel started its deliberations yesterday morning after Judge Raymond Bennett finished his summing up.
The prosecution has alleged Liversidge was the leader in the agreement and Hancox his co-dealer.
Both defendants have told the jury they use amphetamine but do not sell the drug to anybody.
Proceeding.
