HABERGHAM High School, Burnley, headteacher Stuart Smith welcomed more than 100 current and former sixth form students for an awards presentation last night.
Many of them returned after their first term at university and were delighted to meet up with old school friends at the event.
Prizes were presented by Catherine Wilson, formerly the education officer for the Institute of Physics and the assistant director of the Association of Science Education.
