TINY Shetland pony, Little John, was having a busy Christmas - popping into the pubs in the Ribble Valley.
The Chipping Pony Club were holding their annual carol singing session and taking Little John with them. His "carols on the trot" helped raise £68 for the Pony Club and Riding for the Disabled.
Members of Blackburn Society of Antiquaries also visited Hall 'i th' Wood, Bolton and toured what was once the home of Samuel Crompton, inventor of the Spinning Mule.
