POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old had his nose broken in an unprovoked attack.
The teenager was outside the Castle pub, in Whalley Road, Accrington, when an older boy approached him and punched him.
The offender was white, aged 15 to 16, 5ft 5ins tall, with short dark brown hair, wearing a red and grey coat. He was riding a dark blue and red BMX bike.
The attack took place at 7.45pm on Sunday and the victim was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary but released after treatment. Anyone with information is asked to call Accrington police on 01254 382141.
