PEOPLE in Rossendale will have the chance to quiz county councillors at a special roadshow held in Rawtenstall this weekend.
The Leader of Lancashire County Council, councillor Hazel Harding will be visiting the East Lancashire Railway Station, Bury Road,.
Rossendale county councillor David Easton will also call in to talk to local residents.
The council's touring trailer will have staff members on hand to help answer questions and hand out sherry and mince pies.
It will be at the station tomorrow between 10am and 4pm.
An added bonus for younger visitors will be the appearance of Father Christmas who will be on hand from 10.30am to noon.
Coun Harding explained: "We provide a great many services for our residents.
"But while some are well known, others are not.
"This is your chance to find out exactly how your money is spent.
"The trailer is a mine of information for the public.
"They will be able to pose questions on local issues.
"They can also pick up a wide range of leaflets giving details of county council services."
