Christmas came early at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital when a convoy of motorcyclists arrived carrying toys for deserving youngsters.
Members of the 'Pigs on Wheels' bikers' group left the Glass Barrel pub at Hindsford and turned a few heads as they roared through Tyldesley and Mosley Common on their way to the Pendlebury hospital where they brought smiles to young faces.
"Every year with the aid of the Glass Barrel landlady we support several events for the hospital in the form of Easter Egg runs, charity parties, and the Christmas Toy Run' which we buy and donate to the hospital," said pillion rider Tania Ridley, who accompanied Gary Baddeley on their 1500cc Kawasaki custom cruiser.
