A 19-YEAR-OLD man went on a wrecking rampage because he was frustrated at being homeless.
Blackburn magistrates heard that James Adam Wild was looking for somewhere to sleep and when he was disturbed went "berserk."
He was disturbed trying to break into a parked car and then used a concrete slab to break through glass doors at Europrint, in Preston New Road.
He ran out and threw a brick through the window of an unoccupied house and a car window.
The owner, Mr Khan, and his nephew gave chase but Wild threw a wheelie bin through the bay windows of the Ashiyana Housing Association.
Lisa Worsley, prosecuting, said Europrint had estimated damage at between £7,000 and £8,000.
She said Wild had been released from prison on November 11.
Wild, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage and five charges of criminal damage. He was committed in custody for sentence at Preston Crown Court.
