IF you were in charge of quality control in a baked bean factory in Bury, would you get rid of the good beans or the bad beans to improve standards?
Well, Bury's Labour councillors get rid of the "good beans" in this town.
It was no surprise to me to read in the Bury Times that education standards in primary schools are worse now than last year. After all, they closed Affetside Primary School, one of the top three best performing schools, only to keep the poorly performing ones plodding on.
