IT HAS been my custom to buy Christmas stamps for my cards, but I had no pleasure with this year's theme of 'Ice'.
I wrote to the Royal Mail who have told me next year's Christmas stamps "will be much closer to what we all see as Christmas stamps."

The current stamps, pictured left, depict ice sculptures by Andy Goldsworthy, a well-known and highly-respected British artist.
