I LIVE close to the spot where Amy Houston was knocked down and like everyone else we were shocked and upset with the tragic events.
I believe that after such an accident it is easy for bitterness to creep in, which I know does no-one any good. However, after the court hearing and the sentence of four months, after having been disqualified from driving twice before, no insurance and leaving the scene whilst poor Amy was trapped under the car, well, wouldn't anyone become bitter!
This man has flouted the law of the land twice and now this horrific event has happened. Surely this is not justice!
I believe that if Amy was my child I would now be feeling extremely bitter. This injustice must no doubt add to the grief her parents are now experiencing.
