ROVERS Ladies won through to the final of the Lancashire Cup after a penalty shoot-out success over Blackpool Wren Rovers.
Rovers had the lion's share of possession and territorial advantage in the first half however couldn't find a way through the host's stubborn defence.
Katie Anderton broke the deadlock in the second half with a thumping effort from the edge of the box before Blackpool equalised from a free kick.
No further goals were scored in normal and extra time and thus penalties ensued.
Lisa Welsh, Anisha Bateman, Justine Wallace and Anderton all found the net to earn their side a 4-2 spot-kick success, and with it date with Preston North End in the final.
Boss McNally said: "I'm proud of the way the players held their nerve at the right time and we're looking forward to what will be a tough game against neighbours Preston."
