COMPANIES in Bury are being invited to submit their entries for this year's Manchester Digital Big Chip Awards.
The call for entries is going out not only to digital sector companies but also to businesses, creative agencies and organisations in other sectors which have undertaken digital initiatives in 2003: everything from a company website to wireless technology.
Manchester Digital, the trade association for the region's digital sector, is hosting the sixth annual awards for digital excellence.
This year's award categories have been revised to accommodate the diverse range of creativity produced in the North West. The 11 awards encompass e-marketing, technology, digital animation, websites, low budget digital projects and innovation.
Entries are submitted free online at www.bigchipawards.com or www.manchesterdigital.com.
Closing date for entries is Monday, January 5 and the Big Chip Awards will be announced at a dinner on Thursday, January 22 at New Century Hall in Manchester. Compere is broadcaster Anthony Wilson.
