NO wonder Bury man and garage bodyshop manager Kevin Simpson is wearing a gleaming smile on his face lately.
For he and his colleagues at Williams BMW in Bolton are well and truly in the "front seat" when it comes to winning top industry honours.
The dealership has swept the boards with a clutch of awards for staff and achievements in the motor industry.
The BMW bodyshop picked up three out of four wins at the Bodyshop Magazine Awards, known in the industry as the "Oscars" of the trade, and at the coveted BMW Bodyshop Awards.
At the magazine event, Kevin scooped the manager of the Year title while his department as a whole was one of the five finalists in the Franchise Bodyshop of the Year category.
The department was also recognised at the BMW Bodyshop Awards, where it beat off 132 BMW approved bodyshops to become the overall regional winners: the best in the North West. In the national category, Kevin and his team came a close second.
Kevin, who lives at Walshaw Park, Bury, was a pupil of St John's Primary in Radcliffe and Radcliffe High School and subsequently a student at Horwich College.
