SCULPTOR Matthew Roby has created a solo exhibition -- from rubbish.
His incredible Junkyard Menagerie will be on show at the Turnpike Gallery, Leigh, from January 10 to February 7.
Using unwanted machinery and crafted sheet metal, held together with rivets, wire and solder, Matthew has created an array of unique characters, including dancing cats, mad scientists and a giant stinkbug.
His most recent work has focused on developing his sculptures as story characters.
Using digital technology he has combined his photographs, sculptures and drawings to create a series of weird and wonderful illustrations to accompany his children's stories.
Matthew, from Billinge, has exhibited at numerous north west galleries, and his latest publication "The Crocodile That Ate Christmas" will be on sale.
