A LEIGH school, which won a national award for its fight against bullying, is continuing to tackle the problem.

Bedford High School, which collected a Princess Diana Award for its mentoring scheme, recently organised an Anti-Bullying Awareness Week.

The event included a fixed display in the Lower School hall and included lessons devoted to the issue.

A poster competition in Year 7 to raise the profile of the work was won by Sharon Taylor, followed by Samantha Bunting and Michael O'Donnell.
